The opportunity:
You will work as part of an international HR team providing support to business teams establish in 13 countries, reporting to the Global HR Director also based in Luxembourg.
The focus of the mission is to act as business partner to the leadership teams based in France (Paris), Italy (Milan) and England (London) providing a continual provision of effective human resources support to the business and enabling the people strategy to be achieved.
As the first point of contact for all HR Tasks & topics within the employees & Managers in the mentioned countries, you will work closely with the HR Director & her team to manage change initiatives, deliver effective communication, ensure compliance with employee policies, promote a positive culture and facilitate organisational development, whilst rolling out any specific people-focused projects, including transformation initiatives.
The Senior HR business Partner will be performing the following tasks:
- Build strong partnerships, establish and maintain productive business relationships with key internal clients and colleagues
- Biweekly / monthly partner meetings with relevant client group senior management team
- Facilitate on-boarding
- Partners with the recruitment team in setting local recruiting
- Support the employee performance management process, including robust talent and succession planning
- Coach, mentor and advise employees, to enable them to meet business strategy, working alongside them to fully understand and play a part in the success of client group goals and objectives
- Align people strategy to employee and business priorities, ensuring development of Management to enabling and empowering them to support their teams and the business
- Proactively communicate, supporting key changes
- Ensure structured communication is planned and carried out to maximise employee understanding and minimise impact to the business
- Employee Relations: ER issues, working patterns and eventually, unions or staff representatives
- GHR: manage and implement the HR systems, work on interface with payroll and general services & other service provider
- Advise, act and challenge on change of organisational structure, on culture and Leadership
- Ensure legislative and contractual requirements are met
Your profile:
- Certification or advanced degree in HR
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups as well as independently
- Excellent customer service, with the ability to present information, make recommendations and influence positively across various levels of the organization while exercising professionalism and diplomacy to accomplish objectives
- Capacity to remain current with changing laws and regulations
- Proven project management experience with the ability to influence the senior management team of key initiatives
- Demonstrated proven competences in compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance management and human resources practices and related laws and regulations
- Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple tasks with close attention to detail and accuracy and meet deadlines
- Team management experience beneficial
- Exceptional ability to communicate, both oral and written in French and English

For our sales office in the USA, we are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Vice-President, International Sales (preferably based in NY, LA or San Francisco). The Vice-President, International Sales will be highly motivated in selling our portfolio (TV, digital and radio) to international media agencies and advertisers among a defined target list. Under the leadership of the Director of the US Office, you will work closely with the international sales and marketing team.
Key responsibilities
- Selling the total European video portfolio of RTL AdConnect to clients & agencies as a key and primary priority
- Selling the digital video inventory portfolio of RTL AdConnect to clients & agencies as a secondary priority (when your existing contacts in the industry or leads are not interested in the European offer)
- Developing a portfolio of Advertisers to grow revenues for both TV and Digital media
- Sourcing and converting new advertisers to become key new repeat clients
- Presenting our digital and TV portfolio to clients and agencies
- Responsible for cross media-sales
- Analysis of clients’ media and communication strategies, consultancy
- Evangelize our digital knowledge and position externally on the market and internally (classical TV sales team)
- Preparing presentation alongside the Marketing team
- Preparing quotes, reporting and control of orders
- Interact with our local TV and digital partners
Your profile
- 3-4 years of Media experience
- College or university degree
- 1st experience preferably in a media agency or broadcast media dealing with international campaigns
- Broadcast and digital media knowledge
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy working with clients
- Analytical thinking, good presentation skills, well-structured and team-based work
- Enthusiasm for the international TV and radio markets, online affinity

Key responsibilities
The International KAM will be responsible for the sales activity and customer contact for a defined portfolio of clients/agencies with the aim to achieve set sales targets.

- You speak and write French and English full-fluency. Speaking German is an asset

You are a motivated and outgoing person, canvassing and developing opportunities with relevant prospects. Your role is to create the connection to potential clients, understand their business and needs, preparing according strategic approach, presenting and selling in our classic and digital media portfolio (e.g. TV, Video on Demand, Radio, Special Solutions, Print). Under the leadership of the Sales Director, you will work closely with the international sales and marketing team to deliver the relevant solutions.
Key responsibilities
- You create and manage relationships with relevant clients and agencies and develop existing clients in relation to our markets, products and services.
- You create strategies and creative solutions which are responding to client’s objectives and needs, utilizing the full scope of our group’s capabilities
- A regular and active exchange with our media partners on shared clients and projects is important and is part of your tasks.
- You will also be responsible for developing creative sales ideas with our solutions team.
Your profile
- A minimum sales experience of 5 years is a good basis for your successful start (experience from a client media-role, a media agency or broadcast media is a plus)
- You are a Bachelor, Master or you have a University degree in economics, business administration, social sciences, media studies or comparable education / experience
- You can demonstrate digital media know-how, excellent communication & presentation skills and you are good in analytical thinking
- You enjoy working with clients and have a team-based work attitude
- Pre-existing network within the start up/e-players scene in Germany is a plus
- Performance media planning knowledge is also a plus
- You are fluent in English, German is a big plus, other languages are a great asset
